To support our students in developing their language skills, "English Language Club" has been initiated by the Department of English. The club has been inaugurated with much enthusiasm today. Professor Dr Md. Shahid Ullah Talukder, Vice Chancellor of the University graced the inaugural session as the Chief Guest while Professor Dr Md. Abdul Fateh, Dean of the School of Humanities was the Special guest and Swati Rani Debnath, Head of the Department of English presided over the meeting. Md. Mostafa Kamal, Director of American Corner Sylhet, delivered the welcome speech while Dr Md. Jakaria Habib, Associate Professor, Md. Saiful Islam Apu, Lecturer, Preety Dey and Jakaria Ahmed, Students of the Department of English delivered their thoughts.

The English Language Club will function every Saturday at 2:30pm with the support of American Corner Sylhet.
