The Department of English, Sylhet International University has successfully organised a 'Literary Poster Festival' today. Students from all the semesters have participated in the event with much enthusiasm. There were eleven teams from eight semesters. Each team displayed their posters depicting the history of English Literature and their presentation received warm appreciation.

The program became colourful with the gracious presence of the honourable Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Dr Md. Shahid Ullah Talukder as the chief guest and honourable Treasurer of the University, Professor Nitai Chandra Chanda and Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Professor Dr Md. Abul Fateh Fattah as the special guests. Mrs. Swati Rani Debnath, Head of the Department of English presided over the awarding ceremony while Mr. Saiful Islam and Mahfuja Akter, faculty of the Department hosted the event.
