The "Prothom Alo Bondhusava Sylhet Programming Contest 2023" was held today at Leading University. The event drew in more than 50 participants representing all of the public and private universities in the Sylhet region.

One of our own students, Ashraful Goni, from the Computer Science and Engineering department achieved a commendable 8th position in the contest. Noteworthy is the fact that the leading positions were dominated by students from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST). Based on the institution, Sylhet International University (SIU) confirmed 3rd position (individually 8th) out of all universities.

In recognition of the outstanding performance of our students, Prof. Dr. Md Forhad Rabbi, the esteemed advisor of the CSE department, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the participants. He also emphasized the importance of nurturing their skills in competitive programming, encouraging them to further hone their abilities for future challenges.
